About Rafael Castillo

Attorney Rafael Castillo was born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. He came to the United States with his parents at the age of 5 and grew up in the Chicago area. Rafael completed his BA in Political Science at the University of Illinois - Chicago in 2007, graduating Cum Laude with honors. During college, he was a volunteer with the New Americans Initiative and a member of the UIC Honors College. After graduating from UIC, Rafael attended law school at DePaul University School of Law. During his time at DePaul, Rafael was a member of the Latino Law Student Association and an active participant in the Illinois Hispanic Lawyers Association. He earned his Juris Doctorate from DePaul in May 2010. Since graduating from law school, Rafael has worked extensively on Immigration Law, including asylum, naturalization, adjustment of status and deportation defense issues. Rafael has handled matters related to Employment and Labor Law and has been a prosecutor for Villages of Bridgeview and Lyons in the state of Illinois. Rafael is an active member of the Illinois State Bar and the American Bar Association.

Hired Attorney

I had a very poor experience with this attorney. You will talk to him when he seals the deal and then after that you will be sent to a call center with para legals. The only person that will ever call you is to make sure you make your payments.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
