Dealing with Kurt Levitus was abysmal. He likes to hide behind a big crucifix everywhere he goes -- in order to get elderly women to trust him. As a lawyer he "took" care of my aunt's money matters. He is as reliable as my description implies he would be. He was finally disbarred September 21, 2020.
Easily the worst lawyer out there, he has taken my review down twice already, not at all prepared for my case, called my mom by the wrong name in his opening statement, told the plaintiffs I rejected there offer before he told me what is was, cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars, did not fight for me, did not prepare my wife for what he planed for her testimony, didn’t do an audit of what the estate was worth, asked me while we were in trial what my mom’s estate was worth, gave the plaintiffs what they wanted then filed a lien on me the next day, I have all the evidence and the trial transcripts and have considered posting it online to show what kind of dirtbag he is, was forced to settle and tried to file a malpractice suite against him but because I settled no one would take the case.
The experience of working with this attorney was easily the worse attorney experience that I have ever had. He is extremely disorganized. He does not follow thru with court matters in a timely basis and in fact does not comply with court orders. Although he is congenial, he makes statements regarding his intention to do something-including in front of the bench-that never happen. I have never had an experience like this with someone who is a professional.
I can't believe someone could care less about a client.
