He has secured a complete defense verdict in jury trial involving allegations of Equal Pay Act violation and Title VII sex discrimination. On behalf of a corporate plaintiff in a breach-of-contract action, he won a jury verdict for all damages requested.

Mr. Shea has defended manufacturers and other businesses in toxic tort cases involving mass salmonella poisoning and asbestos exposure. He has also defended self-insured product liability clients in aviation, riding tractors and mowers, power tools, and other consumer goods industries in claims involving serious personal injury and property damage.
