Fedor Kozlov is the founding partner and chief litigator at The Law Office of Fedor Kozlov, P.C., with more than a decade of experience practicing family law in Illinois. He concentrates in matrimonial and family matters including contested and uncontested divorce, maintenance, property division, business-asset identification and valuation, child support, domestic violence, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Michigan State University School of Law, Mr. Kozlov is admitted to practice in Illinois, the Northern District of Illinois, and the Eastern District of Michigan. Before founding his firm he worked at several Chicago law firms and completed an externship with the Cook County Office of the Public Defender. He developed negotiation skills volunteering with nonprofits and advocating for survivors at Eve, Inc. He regularly resolves disputes through negotiation when possible and represents clients at hearings and trials, including complex international matters involving jurisdiction, alleged child abduction, and paternity.
