Courtney Anne Berlin, a recent graduate of DePaul University College of Law, clerked at Clifford Law Offices in 2023 before joining the firm as an associate. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in political science at The Pennsylvania State University.

Her previous work experience includes interning at an Illinois State’s Attorneys’ office as well as various defense litigation firms.

Berlin already served as a third chair on a trial team at the firm for a medical malpractice case which resulted in an $11 million settlement and has worked on motions involving the 2019 crash of a Boeing jet that founder and senior partner Robert A. Clifford is Lead Counsel in federal district court.

She is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Chicago Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Berlin was also a member of the Jaharis Health Law Institute throughout law school and served on the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law and as the Authorities Editor for the 2022-2023 DePaul Journal of Health Care Law.
