Friedman Schuman, PC is a law firm established in 1986 with an office in Cherry Hill, NJ. At this office location, there are 10 lawyers practicing corporate and business law, creidtors rights, elder law and 11 other areas of law.
Melissa is an outstanding lawyer who will go out of her way to fight for your rights. Her years of legal experience was the key that won our case concerning my son who has a mental disability . She is a professional compassionate person who understands the legal system and how to get positive results. Melissa is always available to answer your questions. When I say exceptional, I mean exceptional! I initially contacted Derek Layser, Esq. when I was involved in a motor vehicle accident as he is, in my opinion, one of the top lawyers in the area. He set me up with Robert Nemeroff, Esq. to handle the case and I trusted from the get-go that I would be in very capable hands. Attorney Nemeroff is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He was available to answer any questions I had throughout the (almost) three (3) year period which this case lasted and worked diligently to settle the case with my best interests in mind. Touted their relationship with the party who injured me as their strength in settling my case while coming up empty. Changed their tune from beginning to end. (If you’re interested in reading their emails, they make for a study in inconsistency). Only communicated with them a few times via phone or Zoom. It’s unfortunate that RELEVANT, PRIMARY communications were via email. They never built a personal relationship or seemed interested in our personal losses. After wasting our statute of limitations, they withdrew from the case. They claimed to have expert testimony in support of my case only to then say, “the expert” wasn’t willing to testify. How could both those things be true??? Horrible experience. In one email, Brett was assuring me. Then, it was like his alter-ego wrote me in the next. Absolute betrayal of trust. I never saw any proof of communication between the firm and the hospital responsible for my injuries from an improperly done surgery.
