Personal Injury and Wrongful Death. Mr. Jones began his career as an insurance adjuster for a large national property and casualty insurer in 1987. He handled automobile injury and death claims for several years before becoming a lawyer in 1994. Since that time he has defended clients against injury claims, and he has represented clients bringing such claims. He has over twenty four years of experience in such matters.

Neutral. Mr. Jones has considerable experience with mediation dating back to his time as an insurance adjuster. He received training as a mediator in 2001 (two separate forty hour trainings), and has served as an arbitrator and a Settlement Guardian Ad Litem.

Elder Law and Estate Planning and Administration. Mr. Jones is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Washington Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He assists clients with planning and administration in these areas. He has also been involved in Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution Act (TEDRA) actions.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
