Hired Attorney

We had had multiple meetings with several attorneys, most of whom were knowledgeable, but seemed cold. Cold is not what you want in a custody battle because it's such a emotional situation. Kelly was warm, relaxed and great at explaining everything. She was patient and she listened to us in depth. We could tell she had handled many, many cases very similar to ours and she knew exactly what needed to be done, what things were important and what things were not. That was a huge relief in and of itself. Throughout the process, it was clear she was looking out for the child at the center of the dispute, too, not just the adults involved in the case.

Hired Attorney

Ms. Hobbs was my initial attorney for my divorce. I emailed her a very specific question to which she replied, "judges don't care about XXX." Based on this, I proceeded, then lost my case for that exact issue! My new attorney was shocked seeing Ms. Hobbs email response to me and she stated it was "egregious."{para}Despite my new attorney's best efforts, the damage had already been done, costing me tens of thousands of dollars.
