Ms. Tiyesha N. Decosta

DO NOT HIRE HER!!!! She is unprofessional and rarely answers calls, texts or emails . Once she gets paid, she often starts ignoring clients. She makes a lot of excuses, such as being in a car accident or traveling abroad, just to avoid communication. She is arrogant and lacks sufficient knowledge. You would be better off hiring a reputable lawyer or representing yourself than wasting money on her services. I ended up firing her, which turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Her unprofessionalism and lack of responsiveness made it impossible to rely on her services.

Do not give one penny to Tiyesha DaCosta. She is a THIEF who has taken several thousands of dollars from clients, only to immediately ghost them. Tiyesha was also running a very large Facebook platform to “teach” folks about family court, until she was called out for being a thieving con artist. Then Tiyesha archived her group and booted out all the other admins and mods except for “Libby” and “Stacey”, two of Tiyesha’s many fake accounts and fake assistants that are actually Tiyesha in disguise. Tiyesha used her assistant “Stacey” to suddenly announce that the group will be archived for 30 days due to Tiyesha’s “ongoing health problems”, meanwhile she’s still charging people for her “secret society” classes which aren’t even operating anymore to my knowledge, especially now with the group archived. Tiyesha owes thousands of dollars back to many people, and instead of answering their calls or emails, she disappears on international vacations for several weeks. She is a scam artist!

I cannot express how disappointed and stressed I am with the level of service I received from Tiyasha N. DeCosta at The DeCosta Law Firm. As a single mother going through a difficult divorce, I trusted this firm to help me navigate an already overwhelming situation. Unfortunately, their negligence has caused me to face even more hardship, including the risk of losing my home. From the start, communication was minimal. I constantly had to chase down updates, and when I did get a response, it was vague and unhelpful. Important deadlines were missed, and critical decisions were ignored, which directly led to my case being delayed and mishandled. The worst part is that I found myself on the verge of homelessness because of their failure to act. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to Tiyesha N. DeCosta and their office, I was met with silence. I felt completely abandoned during one of the most stressful times of my life.
