R. Lee Robertson, Jr. is the Managing Partner of Robertson & Associates. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, construction law, business disputes, and commercial real estate matters. He represents contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, developers, and business owners in complex disputes, including mechanic’s lien claims and construction payment issues.
Mr. Robertson is admitted to practice in North Carolina and before the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of North Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He earned his J.D. from Charlotte School of Law and his B.A. from North Carolina State University.
Mr. Robertson currently serves as President of the 26th Judicial District Bar, reflecting his leadership within the Mecklenburg County legal community. He is active in both the Mecklenburg County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association, including the Construction Council, and has contributed as an Associate Editor to the *Construction Law Deskbook*.
He has been recognized as Legal Elite in Construction Law by Business North Carolina magazine (2021, 2024, 2025, 2026) and received the Outstanding Individual Pro Bono Attorney Award from the Mecklenburg County Bar (2022).
