About Mr. V. Brian Bevon

Brian Bevon opened his own firm in January, 2018. Brian has over twenty-five years of experience in litigation representing individuals in the areas of occupational health, toxic tort, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, premises liability, landlord-tenant, and contract disputes. He is also a certified SC Civil Court Mediator and has mediated complex cases involving asbestos and mesothelioma in State and Federal Court in South Carolina.

Born and raised in Charleston, SC, in 1966, Brian began his legal career in Hilton Head with the Qualey Law Firm. There he practiced real estate, property owners’, probate, and construction defect law. In 1994 Brian returned to Charleston and took up practice as a trial attorney with the Charleston based litigation law firm of Motley Rice. After 3 years with his brother in Bevon Law Firm, Brian now owns and operates his own practice Law Office of V. Brian Bevon, LLC.

Brian earned his B.A. from the Catholic University of America in 1989, and served on the legislative staff of U.S. Senator Ernest “Fritz” Hollings of South Carolina, during his time in Washington D.C. He earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1992. He participates in the Lawyer Mentoring Program of the Supreme Court of South Carolina Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. In 2018, Brian was a finalist for Mentor of the Year. Brian is an active member of the Charleston County Attorney Fee Dispute Resolution Board and serves on the Charleston County Board of Assessment Appeals. He is also Recognized as a BV® rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell®, and a 2014 Top 100 Trial Attorney: South Carolina by the National Trial Lawyers Association.
