Christopher M. Hinnant (Chris) is a litigator and loves being in the courtroom. He is licensed to practice law in both North and South Carolina, where he represents businesses and individuals in professional and/or business disputes. Christopher M. Hinnant (Chris) is licensed in both North and South Carolina and has a wide range of experience in civil litigation, including medical malpractice defense, personal injury defense, premises liability defense, commercial trucking cases, and construction litigation. Chris handles complex litigation matters, and his practice concentrates primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and professional liability. His commercial clients include individual business owners, corporations, partnerships and banks. He also represents hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, as well as other professionals such as architects, developers, appraisers, and contractors.
Chris has litigated cases all over North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, in both state and federal court. In addition to his trial work, Chris has extensive experience in both mediation and arbitration of complex matters, and has lectured before a wide variety of groups, including programs for the National Business Institute.
