Jennifer was an excellent attorney for my case; she is very skilled in negotiating, and has a reputation for building rapport with other attorneys who have a reputation for being difficult to deal with. She is very knowledgeable, listens to the client’s needs, and is highly focused and organized. I fired my first attorney for being entirely unresponsive. When I interviewed Jenn, she spent extra time to get to know the details of my case without charging more than the initial consultation fee. Can’t recommend her highly enough!
They were very helpful in forming an LLC. They also gave us very useful information on reforming a business.
I was deeply disappointed with my appointment with Shayla. My wifw and I scheduled a call specifically to address significant concerns about a solar lease, but it became clear that the contract had only been superficially reviewed. The advice provided was inaccurate and dismissive, characterizing an obviously predatory agreement as favorable. This lack of attention to detail and professionalism was a disservice, especially given the high stakes involved in this transaction. I expected much more from a recommended professional and would caution others to thoroughly vet services before proceeding.
Associate gave me bad advice that cost me extra money I should not have had to spend. Associate was fired from the firm in the middle of my case and they hired outside counsel to take on my case. The whole reason I went with this firm was the experience of the main counsel and he no longer worked on my case at all. My divorce settlement was drawn up by my counsel who made several mistakes that any good divorce lawyer should not have made. Very dissapointed with my experience with this firm.
Mrs. Maatuka services were all about her getting paid with very little if any help towards helping me solve my issue with my mortgage company. She failed to file court documents in regards to a threaten foreclosure and constantly had excuses to why she was unable to get a response from the lender. {para}Mrs. Maatuka showed up at my home one Sunday (without calling or my prior knowledge) and said her husband (who was in real estate) was willing to purchase my home for the delinquent amount.
This woman took advantage of me during the most difficult time of my life. Red flag* if they have you sign an agreement that you aren't guaranteed results and if you do not pay them then they will sue you and make you pay for their attorney fees to pursue you. *Warning! Unless you want someone who is unprepared, lacks empathy, over priced and overcharges you for anything she has to do in regards to your "case" for so called "years" of experience with no trial proven results, or you don't mind giving yours or your family's hard earned money away, then I suggest you do your research interview other lawyers and find another attorney.
Very unethical practice (lots of bait & switch). They say $90 for a 30-minute consult, but switch it to $500 for a consult with someone who is allegedly a specialist. Women should avoid Kyle Emkes: He's a first rate gas-lighter, egotist, and misogynist. Untrustworthy & highly unethical lawyer. Emkes violated professional rules of conduct for Client-Lawyer relationship as defined by the ABA (Rule 1.4). Didn't return calls or emails. And used coercive measures to shake me down for more money (e.g., said that he would not discuss the scope of representation until I first coughed up another $1000). What? I asked him, How can I pay you $1000 if I don't know whether or not my case has merit, and what my $ expectations should be in terms of time & labor required to pursue my case? He also violated rules for termination (Rule 1.16) & rules that govern fees (Rule 1.5) making unreasonable demands for $$$. People who employ rackets like this should not be allowed to practice law.
