Petra Pilar Moreno serves as an associate attorney at Wilner & O’Reilly APLC, having earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA, and securing admission to practice law in the state of California.
Petra's professional journey began with internships at various small law firms, where she concentrated on family-based immigration cases. At Wilner & O’Reilly, she channels her knowledge into removal defense cases, passionately representing clients before the Court.
As the daughter of immigrant parents, Petra intimately understands the challenges her family faced while navigating the intricate legal system. This firsthand experience fuels her pride in offering the necessary help and guidance to clients.
Petra's commitment to community service extends beyond the legal realm. During her undergraduate years at UC Berkeley, she worked at the Center for Latino Policy Research, collaborating with faculty staff to bridge the gap between education and the underrepresented Latinx and Indigenous communities. Additionally, she actively contributes to fundraising efforts for the Refugee Health Allegiance, aiming to provide essential medical services to migrants, refugees, and other vulnerable patients at the Mexico-USA border.
In her personal pursuits, Petra finds fulfillment in outdoor activities and a deep connection with nature. Beyond her legal endeavors, she enjoys hiking, reading, dancing, and taking leisurely walks with her maltipoo.
