Josh has practiced law in Oregon for over 15 years with a heavy emphasis on court room litigation. In that time he has represented thousands of people in various criminal cases throughout the state of Oregon.
He joined the legal committee of NORML in 2007 and is registered as a lifetime member. In addition to the rigors of litigation, Josh also managed a small law firm and the five-lawyer litigation team that performed that firm’s courtroom work.
After years of working large case loads in the Portland area Josh has transitioned to a more focused and one-on-one approach to cater directly to individuals.
Now Josh is able to limit his case load to a select few at any given time to allow him to provide more cogent representation.
Josh Gibbs Law is located in Josephine County and the immediate counties served are Josephine, Jackson and Douglas. However, Josh has made court appearances in more than 20 jurisdictions in Oregon and still works throughout the state.
Josh has a focus in two primary areas of law: criminal defense and cannabis compliance issues. Most often, Josh Gibbs Law provides legal representation regarding criminal allegations as well as issues that arise among recreational and medical marijuana grows, and the administration of dispensaries. Meanwhile, Josh is able to provide general legal services to the Illinois Valley community of southern Oregon.
