Keith Karnes is an experienced litigator who leverages his background in criminal law to zealously represent his family law clients.
Keith began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney for Colorado’s 11th Judicial District, where he notably prosecuted assault cases between inmates within the Department of Corrections in Canon City. He also served as a prosecutor for the People of Pueblo County, where he earned a reputation for resolving cases through alternative means, such as inpatient treatment and diversion programs. Keith completed approximately 50 criminal jury trials and hundreds of evidentiary hearings during his tenure.
Keith entered private practice in 2021, honing his criminal defense and family law experience. He has defended clients against a diverse range of criminal charges, demonstrating his capability to provide comprehensive representation in domestic relations matters.
