About Andrew Welker Neiford

Andrew Neiford is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in complex civil, criminal, and administrative matters across Colorado and Texas. He has tried more than 75 cases before judges and juries in county, district, and administrative courts, and has litigated dozens of injunctions statewide. This experience gives him the courtroom proficiency and strategic insight to drive matters toward efficient and favorable outcomes.

Andrew manages every phase of litigation, focusing on measurable results—from pleadings and discovery through motion practice, mediation, and trial. He is known for quickly assessing risk, building decisive strategies, and executing them with precision, whether the matter involves regulatory action, commercial disputes, or high-stakes enforcement issues.

Before joining Robinson & Henry, Andrew served three and a half years as an Assistant Attorney General at the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, acting as both litigation and general counsel to numerous state regulatory boards and programs. He has advised on regulatory compliance, licensure, disciplinary actions, dispute resolution, and open-records matters, consistently helping agencies streamline processes and reduce legal exposure.

Andrew’s background also includes seven years as a criminal prosecutor in Colorado and Texas, three and a half of which were spent as a chief court prosecutor. During this time, he handled high-volume caseloads, led trial strategy, and secured successful outcomes across a wide range of offenses. Earlier in his career, he gained additional experience as an associate at a boutique civil transactional firm in Texas, further strengthening his understanding of business-driven legal considerations.

With broad, cross-disciplinary experience and a proven trial record, Andrew provides clients with clear guidance, meticulous preparation, and strong advocacy. He focuses on achieving practical, strategic, and favorable results in every stage of litigation.
