Looking for a local lawyer to the court my ticket was for. I got stopped for speeding by Whispering Pines NC PD for 54 in a 35. (NOTE: Don't speed in and around Whispering Pines) Now many people are confused in their google reviews that their ticket dismissed. No, NC does not "dismiss" tickets, the state would get no revenue if they "dismissed" tickets. Reduction goes to a non moving violation and still shows up on NC driving record. Anyway, Rowland & Yauger got my ticket reduced to non moving violation, improper equipment, so I didnt have to appear in court as I live 2.5 hours away. Saves my job. No license points and no negative consequences from DMV. They instilled confidence prior to hiring them that they could get the job done. Retainer fee is lower than other local traffic attorneys. Paid their estimated max fine and court costs. Attorney got fine reduced a few dollars and sends back the overpayment. Highly recommend this firm for Moore County traffic tickets
Very easy to work with. I recommend highly.
We had a situation of criminal trespass; the other side tried to say there was no criminal involvement. Brett assured us this was not the case, and we ended up having the individual arrested. Following that, we went to court two additional times in an effort to work throught the issues with the other party.
I thought i was in good hands with this firm but the attorney was super rude, unprofessional and basically went off on me and wouldn't let me speak when i simply called to get clarification on the results. The attorney called me a liar, did not listen to me and even started wishing bad on my future when i had not been rude to him at all. When i first called the attorney assured me they would be able to help me and when the case finally got handled they went a completely different route which had and will have a negative impact. This was the result of him not writing down the unique circumstances in my case. Instead he acted on a completely different objective than what we had originally discussed. I would never confide in one of these attorneys nor would i ever give money to this firm again. This one attorney does NOT have your best interest in mind at all.
Jeff Yaugers was appointed as public defender in Moore County for a case involving Eugene A Smith. The accused was incarcerated for over six months his original arrest date was March 18 2023. He had resolved one charge in Wake County and was moved to Moore County on June 6 where he was advised his next court date would be July 17. The court appointed attorney had no communication with the inmate, did not appear in court on July 17 nor did he have any communication with the inmate. Eugene A Smith was not not advised until later that date his court case was continued without his permission to September 21. Maybe if you"re rich and can afford to pay Jeff Yaugers you may get his undivided attention but if you are poor, black and have him appointed by the court please be prepared to set in jail with no communication from your attorney.
