Hired Attorney

I needed a lawyer to handle an appeal to an assessment from the CRA. I contacted Lawyer Referral Service, and they gave me the name of Pushor Mitchell law firm in Kelowna. I then retained Greg Pratch fo handle the appeal. Over the next 2 years, he collected about $25000 from me in fees, and and a week before we had to reply to a Court Order concerning the appeal, he announced that he would no longer represent me. I was left without representation for the appeal - and out of all the fees I paid him, I hired him the handle the appeal - but he didn't.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
