Hired Law Firm

Josie is a clear communicator, an effective advocate, and a warm human being. Her advice was reasonable, clear-headed, and grounded in the law. My input was welcome and we got the best deal possible without going to court (my wishes). Anyone seeking to minimize stress, understand the options, and achieve a fair outcome should work with Josie. She is hard-working, honest and fair, and able to distill complex legal issues into a comprehensible set of choices. I recommend her most highly.

Josie was highly recommended by several well-regarded family lawyers. She is extremely knowledgeable, fair, articulate, and easy to work with. She responded to my concerns quickly and professionally. She approached things pragmatically, and suggested options and the pros and cons of each choice, so that I was comfortable and confident. She helped frame choices with regards to their financial considerations, and what is in the best interest of my children. Operates with integrity, so I could too.

Hired Attorney Joanne (Josie) Bruhn

Joanne (Josie) is fair and understanding. She has represented me for 17 years now. Clearly explained what was the most important things for my children. I would say she is the best in Barrie. She is a hard working, easy to talk too, caring, and an excellent lawyer. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my family and their best interest.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
