Elle Lewis is a senior associate at Cotchett Pitre & McCarthy, LLP, where she practices civil litigation focusing on securities and consumer actions.Before joining CPM, Elle’s practice focused on civil litigation in a wide range of areas, including catastrophic injury, antitrust, construction defect, commercial liability defense, multi-party litigation, and securities actions. She has vast experience in discovery and has been instrumental in obtaining three unanimous jury trial verdicts and multiple settlements. As an advocate of social justice, Elle has taken on pro bono matters such as successfully representing multiple tenants in unlawful detainer settlement conferences, obtaining favorable settlements for plaintiffs in civil actions, and drafting robust declarations resulting in positive orders for victims of domestic violence.Elle is active in pro bono work and community affairs. She offers guidance to students of University of San Francisco School of Law. She continues to assist students preparing for bar exams.While at USF, Elle received the CALI award for Legal Research and Writing. Elle was sought out to become a Black Law Student Association leader and was selected as an advisor to increase student diversity for High School Outreach program, judicial meetings, USF student recruitment activities, and to review applications for acceptance.
