I feel sorry for anyone that gets this pathetic excuse of a lawyer as a public defender. Unfortunately, he was appointed to my sister's case. I called repeatedly for a month, leaving messages on voicemail, via text, and with his hateful receptionist that acts like she's superior to everyone else. My sister called repeatedly from jail and had given them permission to talk to me. Her hearing was pushed back for a month because he just didn't bother showing up for the first one. When I made the decision to file a complaint with the state bar, he finally called me back and immediately called me a smartass and started screaming that I'm not his client and if I have an attitude, he just won't work on her case. I recorded this conversation and along with all of our attempts to reach him and will be using it to file a complaint with the bar. Several other people, including other people that work at the court offices, have told me that he is known for not communicating with clients.
