I retained Karyn on July 29, 2024 after not being notified of my daughter’s birth. I hired her based on a recommendation and trusted her judgment during a critical time as a new parent. Her rate was $375/hour, yet after three months the only result was three hours of supervised time with my daughter, costing $3,210.24. There were no safety concerns on my end. Despite repeated requests, obtaining my daughter’s medical provider information was not treated as a priority, delaying my involvement in basic health decisions for months. Karyn recommended bringing on a Guardian ad Litem, Christiana G. Jimenez, a decision that had serious consequences in my case. I experienced duplicative billing, limited progress, and escalating conflict. Over six months, I was billed $11,236.13. More damaging than the cost was the lost time with my child, which cannot be replaced. I cannot recommend this attorney. Proceed with caution, especially in custody cases involving young children.
