"I don’t just practice Estate Law. I lived it."
My path to the law wasn’t a straight line. When I was 16, my mother passed away, leaving me an orphan and a high school dropout with no one to take me in. I learned the hard way what happens to a family when there is no plan in place.
That experience became my fuel.
After traveling the country and earning my GED, I fought my way through college and law school with a single goal: to fix the system that fails so many families. My journey took me from the University of Tulsa to the courtrooms of New York, by way of Oregon and New Orleans.
I don't shy away from hard work. I wrote my first book while studying for the Oregon Bar (which I passed in 2014), and I beat breast cancer while preparing for the New York Bar in 2016. Later, during the challenges of the pandemic, I added the Louisiana Bar to my credentials.
Modern Law for Modern Lives Today, I run a truly modern practice. I work remotely from my home in New Orleans or my sailboat in New York, serving clients who value efficiency over stuffy offices.
I founded The Law Office of Samantha A. Fix to be the lawyer I wish I had when I was 16.
I understand the stakes:Estate Planning isn't about documents; it's about making sure the people you love are safe. I value accessibility: I’ve worked for minimum wage and managed properties. That’s why I offer Flat Fees and Payment Plans. Sophisticated legal protection should be accessible, not just for the 1%. I am your "Digital Concierge": I use technology to make the legal process smooth, transparent, and stress-free.
Have a problem? We can Fix it.
