Joe Altman is a caring, honest and professional lawyer. I was furious because a supposed friend renting an apartment from me did not pay rent for many months. I wanted to evict her, report her to many institutions, you can't believe how this situation affected me. Mr. Altman took the case. We went to court and finally she left the apartment without any problem. He showed me that money is Not everything. She left. Didn't destroy anything. And God will take care of her and her son. His logic made sense. The person who gave this firm a star contradicts himself at the end when he saw that breaking the deal to buy a problematic building was the best decision. So, why give this firm a bad review? I really can't see the point. Joe Altman is not in for your money. He likes to help people! He has helped me, he has helped my own children when they bought real estate and every time he has made sure the contracts are in perfect order. If not he doesn't recommend the deal. Honest
wanted and willing to purchase a condo at 327 Admiral Lane in the Bronx. This was really a waste of time and money from beginning to end. Mr. Altman was the seller's attorney and I would not deal with any transaction that has his name. it was a back and forth between him and my lawyer for a "Willfull Default" a word on the contract of sale and condo violation and he ended up returning my check for the downpayment and deal was cancelled. Thank you God deal was cancelled because the property went for sale before and was put on the market again God knows what reasons. 2 deals cancellation for the same property within 2months.
