About The Law Offices of Mark T. Hurt

With more than 25 years of legal practice, I and my firm have provided representation to clients in matters ranging from speeding, reckless driving and car accidents to business matters and estate planning to complex multi-million dollar cases, including whistleblowing cases.

As an Order of the Coif graduate in the top 10% of my law school class at Duke Law School, I have argued and written briefs for clients at every level of state and federal appeal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.

I recently was given a speeding ticket while passing through Virginia. I found the Law Office of Mark T Hurt through Google and am so thankful I did. I worked with Frankie, where she kindly and respectfully asked about my ticket, encounter, and driving record to determine the best course of action. Even at the end of my free consultation, I asked if it would be okay to speak with other offices, and she gave me great advice. Because of their professionalism, understanding, and kindness, I chose Frankie at The Law Offices of Mark T Hurt. Frankie called me soon after my hearing to explain in detail what the outcome was and what my next steps were. She was able to reduce my ticket to where my insurance would not be affected, and I would not have my license suspended. I am very grateful to have Frankie represent me and highly recommend her to anyone. Hopefully, I won't have to, but I will use them again in the future if I ever need to.

I found myself in need of an attorney for a traffic ticket I received while traveling. I had no idea that a speeding ticket, would be misdemeanor reckless driving. Thankfully I found a law firm that understood my needs, and were able to go above and beyond, to get this legal proceeding behind me. Laura kept me updated along the way, and made sure I understood the process, and the possible outcomes. I’m more than satisfied with their firm, and should I ever need future assistance, I would definitely call upon her. Than you for taking such good care of me. I appreciate it.

Hired Attorney Mark T. Hurt

I hired Mr. Hurt to handle a traffic ticket. At the time of the charge, I was on probation and I was worried that I would lose my license if convicted. Mr. Hurt and his team worked very hard on my case and were able to get my ticket reduced down to just a small fine! I am very grateful for the services provided by Mr. Hurt and his team and would not hesitate to hire them again if I ever need legal representation.
