Mr. Herzog has handled my family's legal needs for 20 years. He is knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. He explains things well and handles things in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him.
Mr. Herzog was helpful, knowledgeable and above all committed to having us complete our estate plan even after we got distracted by other things in our life. I highly recommend him!
Very understanding, helpful, informative, takes care of everything.
This is a followup of a previous review. John P. Herzog is a thief and an attorney who uses his license to practice law as a facade as cover for his criminal acts. This man has an axe to grind which is hidden from public view and has nothing to do whatsoever with the cases he helps clients rob and steal assets otherwise entitled except for greed. I make these statements based upon facts both material and relevant. He is a co-conspirator in a murder for hire scheme and attempted murder in the first degree. I am initiating a request for investigation by the State of Michigan's Attorney Greivance Commission and am seeking indicment on all related offenses. He along with his clients take advantage of persons with valid and viable claims using stealth to manipulate the system to cause delays and what he will claim is neglect. He pads bills by creating the reason for the charge. Stay away from this person at all costs and do not hesitate to file formal complaints.
My mother ( adopted ) died on 9-17-20 and today is 7-30-21. I found out 5 weeks ago now. Was told they had a private investigator looking for me. I don't believe it, or the PI wasn't very good at all. I ended up calling his office. Was told that there was a trust fund in my name. I opened a bank account, had a person from the bank call him, e-mailed identification only to e told, "oh well, I won't be sending any money because James ( my adopted brother ) is in the hospital with Covid but there is a backup trustee." This case is filled with issues, but, I first wanted to give my brother the opportunity to do the right thing as far as sending what should be sent, and go from there, but, I can't get any call backs or even a, "hey, you need to hire an attorney." yet, here I am on the West Coast with no idea and at the whim of thios attorney. I'm sorry, I just don't know how else to look at it. Nor can I give a postive review.
He was my dads estate attorney, and my brother was the executor. My sister and I had to go to court because all he did was try to get everything for my brother and treated us awful. He also lied and let my brother lie. So if you want a thief and liar I recommend him, he even made us pay him for representing my brother. We got totally screwed
