Green and Gross, P.C. is a law firm with an office in Bridgeport, CT. At this office location, there are 6 lawyers practicing divorce, support and custody, estate planning and probate, elder law and 7 other areas of law.
Joel is an amazing figure, who I deeply admire and had no hesitation bringing my business to him and his firm. He has a keen understanding of human nature and can determine what you need and how best to explain the intricacies of the law to the layman. It was a painless process.
This is the only negative review I have written online, and I am only doing so in the hopes that it will help the person I just spoke to. I do not have first hand experience with this firm, but I just got off the phone with one of their clients who is completely at a loss for how to get Barbara Green to be responsive and move their case forward despite her having received payment. Her client is under enormous stress and she was hired to help with with their situation, however, it seems her lack of responsiveness and lack of progress is making matters worse. My hope in writing this, is that she will aggressively provide the help her client needs and has hired her to provide.
I would not recommend using attorney Joel Green. He made a very simple case complex in an effort to over bill. I discharged Joel, he then sent me an email stating my upcoming court hearing was canceled. I checked the case look up, and my hearing was listed as originally scheduled, Joel lied. The state bar association needs to take a close look at Joel Green and his deceptive way of treating clients. Shame on Joel Green.
