David Bernard is a seasoned civil litigator focusing on personal injury, product liability, class action litigation, and appellate law. At Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder since 2010, David recently secured a $10 million verdict for a client who suffered a coma due to anesthesia malpractice. Before joining the firm, he practiced at Day Pitney LLP, representing creditors in commercial litigations, including corporate bankruptcies and contract disputes. He also has extensive experience in family and education law, handling divorces, custody disputes, and school disciplinary matters. David actively contributes to his community, serving on the Woodbridge Board of Education and chairing its policy committee. He also sits on the Board of Governors for ACES and is involved with the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, New Haven Bar Association, New Haven Inns of Court, and the American Association for Justice. David earned his B.A. with distinction from the University of Michigan in 2001 and graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2004.
