I hired Ms. Davis to represent me in a divorce matter. While originally I felt confident in the decision, the years that have since passed have proven it was a less than ideal choice. The settlement agreement I had proposed - and written myself, was more encompassing than that of Ms. Davis’ shortsighted, vague and just quite frankly terrible agreement that we ended up signing. At the time, most do not know what will become of their situations over time, and each time I review my agreement in hopes of finding clarity or thoroughness, I am let down. So vague, in fact, it will require me to hire another attorney to do the job properly to avoid all of the issues I have experienced, for my future and my children’s future. A true shame. And no, there was no mention of the other party paying for my future legal fees in the event they did not follow the agreement. Again, I could have done a better job myself. Ugh.
