Berg, Lilly & Tollefsen A Professional Corporation is a law firm established in 1962 with an office in Bozeman, MT. At this office location, there are 5 lawyers practicing general trial, appellate practice, personal injury and 9 other areas of law.
We were supposed to get a will, living will, and POA. We only did the will. None of us realized it until this week when we received the bill (5 weeks later) and it had all three on it. I emailed the secretary and am waiting to hear back. Besides this (which we all forgot at the time) they have been great to work with.
I called this firm on 4/24/23 asking if they would be willing to represent me on 5-6 separate legal matters. They asked I write out each legal matter and email it to them. So I did. It took me several days to write the document, edit it, and send it to them. A little over a week after sending the email, I got the tired old line of "we are too busy." I take a couple issues with this statement. 1) If that was actually true, why did you ask me to write out all my case details and personal information? It feels like you are being very disrespectful of my time. You should have told me this before you asked me to write all this out. 2) According to 3 Montana attorneys, with a combined 120 years of experience, the "too busy" statement (and all of it's variations) is a lie. The three attorneys I spoke with said firms who claim to be "Too busy" are not being truthful and simply do not want your case. It is my opinion this firm lied to me, and they certainly waisted my time.
