Luke, a seventh-generation Kentuckian hailing from Logan County, is well-versed in both business and law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Centre College before joining his family’s environmental technology business in Wuhan, China. Here, he gained valuable international experience overseeing fabrication and installation projects across the United States and Mexico. Seeking a legal career, Luke enrolled in Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2019. During his studies, he was active in the Student Bar Association and participated in the Mock Trial Team.
After graduating in 2022, Luke served as a Staff Attorney for the 8th Judicial Circuit Court of Kentucky under Judges John Grise and Steve Wilson. He now brings his formidable legal experience to various legal fields, including business and corporate law, civil litigation, probate, domestic law, and criminal defense, along with insurance litigation and construction.
Luke resides in Russellville, Kentucky, with his wife Wenjing Li on the Wetton family farm. Outside of work, he enjoys tinkering, cooking, and reading, with a keen interest in genealogy and history. His professional affiliations include memberships in the Kentucky and Tennessee Bar Associations, and he serves on the board of directors for both the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association and South Union Shaker Village.
