She came to court unprepared without the documentation and evidence that I sent and without knowing the facts of my case. This showed in her presentation of the trial. She did not know the facts well enough to cross examine the opposing side. Her presentation style can be confusing to the judge. I was not fully guided on what would happen in court and missed opportunities to present everything. I feel my case would have turned out differently with a skilled, prepared, abs strategic lawyer.

After submitting multiple copies of documentation to Ms. Fawcett, she continued to request the same information. She was not properly prepared for the case; didn't know the information, names of parties, or critical information necessary to effectively present the case. She also did not track her time or present invoices to me on a regular basis as the case was being prepared. I was completely dissatisfied and am having to return to court on the same matter due to her incompetence.

Please don't use her, it's a complete waste of money. Throughout my whole case I've felt like she doesn't really care and this is just another job for her. I wish I could let her go right now but I've already paid her my initial fee amount.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
