While I am still in the process of a high conflict divorce, I had to express my gratitude and appreciation for Laura McClure. She is the Senior Associate Attorney in K. Scott Hamerslough's practice. She not only has offered high level representation, but I also feel heard, validated and fought for. No matter how my case plays out, she truly feels like a beacon in these rough waters.

Scott (& team) carried me through one of the most painful times of my life. I hired the wrong firm and was nervous about making a change or seeming like a difficult client. Scott assured me that I am not the first to need a better fit. Scott knows the law and knows people. He never rushed me (even through my tears).He took the time and had patience for every single question or modification.He educated me on the law and the process. His calm and compassionate nature was reserved for me while his firm, dogged and professional approach to opposing counsel was appreciated, He has assured me that he will be there for me if/when there is a violation of court orders. At a vulnerable time, I felt I could entrust Scott with my best interest and by doing so I was able to work thru my grief and anxiety. He said, "Let me worry about that." It was enough for me to know he had my back. He did "have me" and I am in awe of the integrity, compassion he exhibited while handling my case

Scott is the best of the best. He is trustworthy, patient, kind, responsive, and knew all the nuisances that other lawyers didn't. He was sent to me mid case, and it was a gift from the universe. There is no way I'd have made out so well with anyone else. Getting divorced is not fun and it can be stressful. Scott's great disposition and willingness to fight for his clients made a hard time not so bad. I would send my best friends and family to him in a heartbeat.

The character limit is reducing this to just: There were things that I was aware of that he wasn’t and I had pages and pages of facts and notes that I tried to get him to use to develop the case strategy and have for when opposing said things that could be countered by the many things I had for him. He did not use any of it. His style is that of bullying that, shockingly, is quite ineffective… I saw that in mediation, which was a red flag for me. It was the reason I tried so hard to provide him as many of the facts and arguments as possible, things that would be effective. The things I provided him were so clear cut that any reasonable person, even our court system, would take into account. Scott did not do any of that. He prepared HIS case, not MY case… I had 3 great witnesses that Scott didn’t prepare, no surprise there since he wasn’t prepared himself. Scott mismanaged his time in court and used up all the time. So, none of my witnesses had a chance to appear!
