Pam was recommended to me for my divorce as a lawyer who would fight for every asset and get the greatest possible award from my husband. She was indeed tenacious by both requesting documents for every possible asset and following up with subponae requests, motions, depositions, and even asking for court assistance if she wasn't satisfied with the documents retrieved. In the end it wasn't worth it when after 18 months and more than $100,000 in attorneys fees there just wasn't enough asset to warrant the search. Is it worth chasing airline miles when you have all the other major assets discovered? She didn't seem to have a strategy or the standing with the court and legal community for resolving the divorce. Boston is a small legal community. I recommend Pam for difficult discovery work or cases where you need an attorney to delay the matter as long as possible. If your goal is to resolve a divorce matter, you may need a different attorney once you get past discovery.
I do not recommend this attorney to handle divorce cases. She has charged me over $50k for less than a year of work and her presence at hearings showed that she wasn’t as well prepared as the other party. Her documents always had many errors in them and showed that she did not put the time into my case to justify the fees. This is not a complex case. There has been no custody issue, and yet she has invoiced me for hours of work because she would spend way too much time talking to me on the phone, sometimes an hour over something that could have been discussed in twenty minutes. She charged me so much money just for responding to basic emails and for motions that she copied and pasted from other cases, and even left some other person’s name in the heading of a document. There were simple requests for documents she was supposed to make but she wrote them in such a way that was ineffective (not specifying dates of documents needed, etc). Her work was overall not effective.
