About Bryan Harrison

Bryan Harrison is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Boston office, focusing on trade secrets. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in trade secret litigation across the country in both federal and state courts. He contributed to the trade secret section of PLI’s 2025 Employment Law Yearbook and has written on trade secret related topics.

In addition to his trade secret work, Bryan has litigated patent, copyright, trademark matters, as well as commercial disputes involving breaches of contract, franchise disputes, payor-payee conflicts, post-sale breach of warranty issues, and financial litigation. He is experienced in managing all phases of litigation, including drafting complaints, conducting and defending depositions, managing e-discovery, trial and post-trial briefings. He has deep experience in both federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration across the country and internationally.

Bryan obtained an undergraduate degree in biochemistry. Before law school, he worked in a clinical genetics lab at Massachusetts General Hospital developing genetic tests to diagnose cardiomyopathy and hearing loss.

    Intellectual Property Litigation: Represent SAAS real estate company
    defeated a preliminary injunction seeking to enjoin use of the alleged trade secrets. We also obtained dismissal of 10 of the 13 causes of action
    5 of the 7 defendants through motions to dismiss.
    Represent publicly traded financial analysis company against claims of trade secret misappropriation.
    Represent franchised trucking company in suit against former employee
    competitor over theft of trade secrets.
    Obtained verdict for leading designer of reticles, grayscale masks,
    optical gratings in trade secret matter against former employee in 5-day jury trial. In post-trial briefing, obtained a permanent injunction
    attorneys' fees.
    Represented medical device company in a patent infringement matter. Successfully invalidated patent on 101 grounds
    participated in four-day jury trial.
    Represented plant nutrition company in a trade secret
    false advertising lawsuit against a former employee. Defeated former employee's motion for summary judgment in which he argued the alleged secrets entered the public domain through a patent application.
    Represented numerous businesses in trademark opposition
    cancellation actions before the Trademark Trial
    Appeal Board.
    Defended shoe manufacturer against claims of copyright infringement, obtaining pre-suit settlement.
    Defended freight forwarding company in lawsuit asserting copyright infringement arising from allegedly counterfeit textbooks.
