Leavitt Ryan PLLC Family Law is a law firm established in 2015 with an office in Boise, ID. At this office location, there are 3 lawyers practicing family law, divorce, community property law and 14 other areas of law.
Doug helped me get through the hardest time in my life. There were times I felt helpless and unsure what to do or say. It didn’t matter what time of day it was, they were always there prompt to help me. It took us over a year, and Doug killed it during our 3-day trial. His paralegal Donna knew my case in and out, she took days in combining our case into exhibits, with Doug’s direction of what was or was not important, we had everything we needed in showing the judge our side. The judge was able be see the Parental Alienating behaviors and is putting a stop to it. He is not only knowledgeable, but will tell you how he sees it. He won’t lie to you and will bring you back down to earth when you need it. Doug is down to earth, he is passionate and cares about his clients. He is easy to talk to and saved me several times from falling to pieces. Our case was successful and even after the trial, he has called 3 times to see how it's going. You won't regreat getting on your side!!!

I only had a consultation with Douglas but knew by the end I wouldn't go with him. He was rude, pushy and condescending. I thought lawyers love money. He is definitely not recommend nore is he a people person. Keep looking. I eventually found a great lawyer. Good luck 🍀
Did not listen. Made a lot of noise about what we were going to do and how everything was in the bag there were no problems and we were going to win the case. We lost because my attorney gave up and did not try.
She will gain your trust take all your money and not listen to anything you have to say. She requested so many declarations pages pay pages that are court ordered from my emotionally abusive now x husband and then told me it wasn't worth going to trial for. I share 50/50 custody with him now. He pays 350 a month and makes 80,000. He has her a full week one week dropping her off 6 am mon-thurs and picking her up those nights at 6pm. And she was ok with this . Not worth fighting for us. But it was ok for you to charge over 20,000. Shame on you
Biggest lie evever. Front page of newspaper. They were stealing money money. He lied. Then said i owded him money. I paid cash. He dided show up to court. Look.it up. Run for your life. I fired the guy. I worked with the police. He always had a bs lie
Doug is a TERRIBLE attorney. I was his client for 6 months and my experience was completely upside down. He started off strong, like he was actually going to help me & he absolutely failed in every category. His response time was a joke, I was stonewalled by him & his office staff. My calls un-returned, emails literally never responded to. He was completely unwilling to submit motions that I requested & needed & put my questions, concerns & requests off. He attended a status conference without me, not inviting me to it & not consulting with me before had. He requested the judge sign me up for a parenting program, even though I had been very clear about my high conflict ex & that I wanted to go to trial. He refused to update me on the status conference, which is against the bar rules. I filed a grievance against him. The stress, heart ache, the footing I lost because of him is staggering. I ended up firing Doug as his performance was disgraceful. Stay away from this one.
