When I took over from Mr. Pratt the negotiations with an estate that owed me money, Mr. Pratt failed to inform me about more than $2,000 in his unbilled time in excess of the cost estimate on his then current proposal to the estate. That more than $2,000 would have been payable by the estate as a collection cost, had Mr. Pratt thought to tell me about it on a timely basis. In my opinion, this is not a good representation of my best interest.
I made the mistake of recommending Brendan Pratt to my parents for a sensitive matter. He has charged them 12000 for a matter which has been canceled and not seen the light of court. I didn't know it cost 12K to file cancellation papers in a court of law these days. I gave him high marks for responsiveness since he wanted payment at all times. Please seek other counsel. Steer clear of these people. They want your money. They don't want to help.

Do Not Hire Mr. Pratt, He will not do what he says but will charge you as if he worked on your case for a year. Next to no communication unless you barge in his office and force a meeting, trust me you will have to pay dearly for that visit. Once he agrees to fix everything, he wont. You will be back in his office, once again your going to pay dearly. Soon you will fire him, but now you will have a lean against you for not paying. The FL Bar needs to get tough on this Guy.
If you are in the market for an attorney who will litigate against a 15-year-old who lost his father and was having his nearly $1,000,000 inheritance stolen, Brandon Pratt is the attorney for you. One may consider him brilliant at what he does since he seems to lack moral compass or compassion of any sort. A 15-year-old has no father, nor the inheritance his father left for him, which Mr. Pratt took for his 52-year-old client, proving the boy's father failed to fill out the correct paperwork.
