About Jonathan Ostroff

Because of the excellent results he has obtained on behalf of victims of drunk driving crashes and the unwavering commitment he has shown to these victims while handling their cases, MADD representatives recommend Jon to crash victims who contact the organization in search of a lawyer. Special Master Ken Feinberg and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen G. Breyer honored Jon on behalf of the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund for his tireless pro bono (free) representation of those injured and killed in the 9/11 tragedy. Forbes Magazine honored Jon with the New Enterprise Award for his new innovations in business and enterprise after he founded Divorce Done Right which offers families a peaceful inexpensive alternative way to divorce. Only two days after Hurricane Katrina wiped out the Gulf Coast, Jon arrived to spend two weeks assisting in the massive cleanup effort. Since then, Jon has continued to support victims of this terrible disaster. Jon is a Certified Mediator. This means that Jon is certified to help injured victims resolve their injury claims through the use of Mediation.

I am HAPPY I chose Ostroff Injury Law. I spoke to a few other firms. No one was as compassionate as Ostroff. Angela Urofsky was assigned as my paralegal. She is the best!! I could not have asked from someone to work harder for me. Jon and his team are great. They worked hard to get the justice I deserved! Now and in the future, I will continue to refer anyone I know to Ostroff Injury Law. I would NEVER go with another firm!

In 2011, I was injured in a car accident that was not my fault. After being turned away/down by other law firms, Mr. Ostroff's firm agreed to look into and then take on my case. In just a few short months, I had a settlement agreement. Everyone that I spoke to at Ostroff Injury was amazing! They are all caring and extremely understanding people. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of their kind of service.

    Bradford County, PA: $5.7 million award to a woman who sustained a brain injury and facial injuries following a collision with a truck. Originally, the police found Jon's client at fault. Jon was able to prove that the truck driver and owner were primarily responsible for this collision!; Allegheny County, PA: $3.1 million mediation recovery for a husband, wife, and daughter after the mother suffered a severe hip and leg injury, and the daughter suffered a severe leg injury, in a high speed collision. Originally, the commercial van causing the accident blamed a vehicle that left the scene and Jon was able to prove otherwise. Jon resolved two of the three claims within only a year of the accident, and the daughter's claim resolved shortly thereafter!; Wayne County, PA: $1.3 million award to a man who sustained a severe ankle injury when his car was hit by a drunk driver. While the insurer had only a $500,000 insurance policy, Jon obtained an award of over 2 1/2 times this amount for his client!; Lehigh County, PA: $900,000 for a woman who required no surgery and returned to her full time job in less than six months.; NYC 9/11 Victim's Compensation Claim: Jon was one of the first attorneys to try a case before the 9/11 Victim's Compensation Board and received an award of $1.8 million on behalf of the estate of one victim, and a $1.6 million award on behalf of a survivor.

    Personal Injury Lawyer, Jon Ostroff, was honored by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Hon. Stephen Breyer and Special Master Kenneth Feinberg for the pro bono work he performed on behalf of the victims of the 9/11 tragedy. Jon handled the country's first formal 9/11 hearing before Special Master Feinberg. This case set important precedents that benefited thousands of individuals who filed subsequent claims with the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund. For this work, Jon was also a member of and honored by Trial Lawyers Care, which is the group of lawyers that led the largest pro bono effort in history following the horrific events of 9/11.

    Jon and his wife started a charity called "Love To Langa." The mission for Love To Langa is to support an Orphanage in Langa, a South African township which is adjacent to Cape Town. The current goal is to raise money for food, medical care and education for these incredible children, many of whom have lost their parents to AIDS. Jon has three kids and his favorite pastime is sharing their activities and seeing the world with them and through their eyes. Jon and his wife love to travel and enjoy experiencing different cultures together and with their kids. Jon enjoys photography, mentoring kids, and is an avid Philadelphia Flyers and University of Virginia sports fan.
