Born and raised in Blairsville, Georgia, Richard W. Sarrell, II has built a distinguished legal career in his hometown. After graduating from Union County High School, he attended Mercer University, earning honors for his academic achievements. Richard then pursued his legal education at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, where he honed his skills through mock trial and dispute resolution competitions and took on leadership roles in student government. Following law school, he returned to Blairsville to practice law and has remained a steadfast advocate for his community. Richard and his wife, Katherine, enjoy a shared passion for cooking, traveling, and watching college football, making the most of their time together outside of his legal practice.
