Richard A. Rice, a native of Huntsville, Alabama, has carved a distinguished career in the legal realm with a focus on advocating for justice and equality. He began his academic journey at the University of Alabama, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics, while also pursuing studies in pre-law and psychology. Supported by several scholarships, he graduated in August 2004 and gained valuable experience working as a legal assistant in the Office of the Judge Advocate General at AMCOM. This experience ignited his passion for law, leading him to the University of Alabama School of Law, where he received a full academic scholarship to earn his Doctorate of Jurisprudence.Upon graduating in May 2008, Mr. Rice honed his leadership skills as a Canvass Director for a political consulting firm, where he championed democratic and progressive ideals by organizing various community groups and affiliates. Driven by his commitment to justice, he founded The Rice Firm, LLC in 2009. As an accomplished attorney, Mr. Rice is admitted to practice in the Municipal and State courts of Alabama, the U.S. District Federal Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Eleventh Circuit. He is also licensed in the state of Georgia.
