About Ms. Calle Marie Mendenhall

Calle Mendenhall is a trial attorney specializing in mass tort pharmaceutical and medical device litigations. She has a national practice and is currently licensed in the state of Alabama and in all federal district courts within the state. She has been a member of trial teams in over five mass tort trials with total verdicts in excess of $90 million. She was selected as a MidSouth Rising Star by Super Lawyers and ranked as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers in 2018-2023. She is also an active member in the American and Alabama Associations for Justice.

Calle directs the mass torts department for the firm. She is actively litigating IVC Filters, Hernia Mesh, Valsartan, and more. Calle is a member of the Plaintiff Leadership Committee in the Cordis IVC Filter Consolidation in Alameda County, California. As part of her leadership role in that litigation, she oversees the data management team and aids in ESI issues on behalf of all filed plaintiffs.

Calle was raised in Houston, Texas and attended Saint Agnes Academy. Upon graduation, she attended The University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She then earned her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law where she was an active member of the school’s trial advocacy program. While earning her J.D., she was a finalist in the Haley Trial Competition and a member of the Cumberland’s National Negotiation Team.

In her spare time, Calle enjoys traveling and volunteering her time throughout the community. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Birmingham.
