Shane received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Montana in 2006 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University Of Montana School Of Law in May, 2010. While attending law school, Shane worked as an intern for the Brown Law Firm for two years. Shane has been practicing law with the Brown Law Firm, P.C. since 2010, and he became a shareholder in 2017. His legal practice focuses on civil defense litigation. Shane is admitted to practice law in both State and Federal Court in Montana and he is a member of the American Bar Association, Yellowstone Area Bar Association, Western Montana Bar Association, and Montana Defense Trial Lawyers Association.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
