Jonathan Franklin combines decades of courtroom experience with deep community and civic engagement. After earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder and his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, he worked as a Special Assistant Public Defender and then as an Assistant State Attorney in Orange County, prosecuting diverse criminal matters. Relocating to Southern California, Mr. Franklin gained in-house experience in the entertainment sector before founding his own criminal defense practice. He represents clients in DUI, white-collar, drug, domestic violence, and other serious criminal matters, applying a practical, results-oriented approach informed by his prosecutorial background. An active member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association (Order of Distinguished Attorneys), the Los Angeles County Bar Association Delegation Committee, the ABA, and the Screen Actors Guild, Mr. Franklin also supports local charities and cultural organizations through fundraising, marathon participation, and board service.
