Dean ElAyoubi concentrates his practice in professional liability and general liability. Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, Dean was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Pedro Jimenez Jr., J.S.C. in the Criminal Division of Middlesex County Superior Court of New Jersey. During his clerkship, he gained valuable litigation experience, acted as a certified mediator in landlord tenant, special civil, and small claims suits. Furthermore, he was the designated Megan’s Law clerk for Middlesex County. Before his clerkship, Dean interned at the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office where he gained experience in arguing motions and brief writing. Prior to interning at the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, Dean clerked for a law firm in Canton, Michigan where he honed in his client advocacy skills, advised clients on their employee handbooks, and assisted in the creation of a blog article series on creating and operating a small business.
Dean obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts where he was a founding member and the treasurer of his law school’s chapter of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association, where he sought funding and organized events. Dean was also a member of his school’s chapter of the Black Law Students Association, where he was a member of the mock trial travel team and competed at the Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition. Prior to law school Dean obtained his bachelor’s degree in international relations with a concentration in national security policy from Michigan State University.
