About Paul Richmond

I will work with you to get the best result possible for your situation. I begin all my work with an intake which I do at reduced rate to assess your situation. I start by seeing what you would like to resolve and work to bring a result as close to this as possible. I am a creative, out of the box thinker and am often able to obtain the solution my clients are looking for quickly and simply. I have worked on smaller simpler cases, as well as those that impact policy on local, state and federal levels. While no lawyer can guarantee a result, my background (including specialized training in mediation) allows me to resolve many issues quickly without the time and expense of litigation. I have resolved many disputes, including criminal, consumer, real estate and employment matters with a few letters and or phone calls. If we are forced to litigate my many years of experience as a researcher and investigator and hundreds of hours in Trial Advocacy Training gives me an advantage over most lawyers.

I have what I need to practice law and do it well. I have an electronic library that includes 4,000 treatises with forms in more than fifty distinct areas of law and am versed in many Practice Areas. I am a member of numerous practice groups and trade information with countless other lawyers, giving me a brain trust comparable to the largest of firms. This includes the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers, Washington Foreclosure Lawyers, Washington Criminal Defense Lawyers and others. I am constantly increasing my fields of knowledge and have many times the supplemental training required by the State Bar. I also bring a unique blend of applicable experience from my other careers including investigative reporting, psychology and media production.
