Residing in Bellingham, alongside my wife Helena, who is a dedicated mental health therapist, I have traversed a unique journey that spans across continents. Originally hailing from Denmark, I embraced the United States as my new home in 1985. My linguistic prowess extends to fluency in Danish, as well as a proficient understanding of both Swedish and Norwegian.
My trajectory in the legal field is one of determination and dedication. A pivotal moment occurred when I arrived at Seattle's Magnolia Hi-Fi, shortly after my arrival in the States. Fuelled by ambition, I set my sights on a legal career at the young age of 19. This aspiration led me to embark on my collegiate journey in 1991, all while maintaining full-time employment. The culmination of my educational efforts materialized with my graduation from the University of Washington in 1997, followed by the successful attainment of my Juris Doctor from the UW School of Law in 2000.
During my time in law school, my commitment to legal excellence drove me to become involved with a workers' compensation firm, dedicated to advocating for the rights of injured workers. Following my graduation, I transitioned into representing individuals who had suffered injuries due to the negligence of others. My caseload ranged from automobile and motorcycle accidents to slip and fall incidents, as well as premises liability claims. My legal prowess also extended into broader realms, encompassing landlord-tenant disputes, real property matters, contracts, and family law cases.
A deep-seated dedication to securing rightful compensation for those in need propelled me to establish Soholm Law Firm in 2015. Despite the relative youth of my firm, I assure my clients of my accessibility, unwavering transparency regarding case progress, and my steadfast commitment to providing undivided attention.
Beyond the legal realm, I harbor a lifelong passion for music. My affinity for this art form took root at the tender age of 6, as I immersed myself in my parents' LP collection. To this day, the pursuit of new and timeless music remains a cherished pastime.
