Cara M Starr is the best defense attorney in WA. She is incredible person with a natural aptitude for helping people with mental disability. She is highly professional, polite and responsive. We trusted in her. She pulled through for our son David. We have been amazed with how everything turned out. We could not have asked for a better lawyer. We are highly grateful for her time, professionalism and expertise. It was easy to contact with her and never left us waiting. She works extremely hard to get you the best deal and makes the process as seamless as possible. She knows the system and gets you the results you want. She answered all of our questions and made us feel like her top priority and provided the best defense possible for our son’s cases. We are so appreciate for her amazing defense. We highly recommend her to anyone in need of criminal attorney services.

Howard Stein embodies all of the favorable qualities one would associate with a lawyer. Not only was Howard articulate, perseverant, knowledgeable, cultured and professional, but he mentored me throughout the entire process, keeping me well informed of even the most minute of details. While in court, Howard was extraordinarily friendly with each and every attorney/judge we came across. So much so that completing the process felt tranquil. Ultimately he lessened my DUI into a negligent driving.

I had to interact woth this firm twice while my son was incarcerated. Incompetence defines their work in summary. In one case, as the public defender, a lawyer from this firm shows up at the court without any prior context. Look for another firm with more empathy and customer oriented

Worst legal office ever! I was represented by an attorney called Cameron Deweirdt and he was the worst attorney I ever had! Had him to represent me in a criminal hearing as a public defender. Was hardly available, never kept any of the promises he made, on one hearing I ended up with a random attorney attending without telling me and that other attorney almost knew nothing about my case to the extent that the ADA was telling a lot of misinformation to the court and when I tried to correct them, he shut me down. I ended up firing him but that didn’t stop him from representing me in the following hearing against my wishes and got me a bench warrant!! He SHOULD NOT be allowed to practice law at all!!

I had a disappointing experience with Cara Starr as a lawyer. Unfortunately, I found that she lacked empathy and did not demonstrate strong customer relations skills to build trust. Throughout our interactions, she did not seem to listen to my concerns with a helpful or understanding attitude, which made the process more frustrating than it needed to be. I believe a lawyer should be both knowledgeable and compassionate, but sadly, I did not find these qualities in her approach.
