Ms. Shi’s major practice areas include merger & acquisition, foreign direct investment and outbound investment, PE/VC, general corporate and commercial matters, etc., with a special focus on the energy industry and M&A projects.
Ms. Shi has been involved in various M&A and investment projects, including representing foreign investors in their direct investment and acquisition projects in China, representing Chinese companies in their cross-border investment and acquisition projects, and representing PE/VC institutions in their investment projects, etc.
Ms. Shi has been involved in providing legal services to a number of energy companies for their investment projects, especially in the upstream oil and gas sector, and is quite familiar with the deal arrangement and various agreements, including PSC, service contract, JOA, lifting agreement, PSA, etc., as well the daily operation matters in this filed. The investment destination countries/districts of the investment projects Ms. Shi has served include the U.S., Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Iraq, Mongolia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Chad, Egypt, Oman, etc. Ms. Shi also provides legal services to foreign energy companies for the investment and daily operation of their projects in different districts of China.
Ms. Shi regularly advises venture capital and private equity funds on the formation of new funds and investment into portfolio companies in the industries of manufacturing, food, energy, healthcare, tourism, etc..
Working Experience
Ms. Shi joined AnJie Broad Beijing office in July, 2010 and has been practicing law since then. Ms. Shi is now a partner of Broad & Bright.
