Ann represented me twice - first for the initial divorce and then on a followup when the ex tried to get more money. In both cases the opposing counsel was majorly outgunned. The cases were really messy - GALs/forensic psychologists/depositions/audits/appeals/endless motions... and I always felt that I had an extremely tough, competent, and confident representative throughout. She's not cheap, and can be a little intimidating -if these are deal breakers, you might want to stay out of court.
Frances (aka Anne) will do whatever it takes in your case to run her clock but in the end, very little of it even mattered. She made several representations about “potential outcomes” that make it easy to sign on but at the end of the day she just can’t deliver in court. Her communication style is very abrasive and condescending with client, court, and attorneys. Very unprofessional would be an understatement.
My horrible experience with Ann unfortunately put a bad taste in my mouth for not trusting any attorneys. I paid a tremendous amount of money to someone I thought was working for me. Very heart breaking to find out details later on that supported not getting the truth. Ann did not like me getting involved in my case because that initiated questions. I would ask her questions and she would talk to me as if she was punishing a child.
